Tamsin says of her work: "My recent paintings reflect upon my observations of beaches in Hawaii. These images capture my momentary glances, picking out the sumptuous colours, light, movement and atmosphere I had experienced, and which often stay in my mind.

By blurring and manipulating, my paintings start to combine figurative and abstract qualities. My paintings make reference to the way the mind works rather than how the camera sees; not in sharp focus but smudged by experience, mood and expectation".
