Charlotte Howison's collection of ceramic bottles and bowls are inspired by still life drawings and paintings by artists such as Morandi, Ben Nicholson and Cézanne. The forms themselves are slip cast using a porcelain, semi-porcelain or stoneware clay. They are then glazed either by being sprayed, dipped or hand painted creating varying tonal qualities.

Charlotte completed her Foundation at Epsom School of Art she then went to Brighton University. Charlotte continues to work from Brighton and has participated in numerous exhibitions around the country since her graduation, more recently at 'Art in Action', Oxfordshire, Eye Two Gallery, Edinburgh, Chelsea Craft Fair, and CCA Galleries.
